Kevin started Freedom Insurance in 2002 after several years as a captive agent. In 2010, he transitioned the agency to an independent model to better serve Colorado families and businesses. With deep knowledge of both personal and commercial insurance, Kevin is known for his clear explanations, practical advice, and long-standing relationships with local clients. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him spending time with family or exploring the backroads of Teller County.

Nathan Connor

Nathan joined the Freedom Insurance team in November 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from nearly two decades in the U.S. Army and 15 years as a Civil Engineering technician and environmental specialist. Having spent his career in these fields, Nathan now applies those same rigorous standards to protecting his clients. Working alongside Kevin Brumfiel, Nathan views himself as an "insurance teacher," prioritizing education over sales. His mission is to translate complex coverages into clear language, ensuring his clients, especially fellow veterans and local families, feel empowered and protected in today’s economy. Nathan’s goal is to ensure every customer truly understands their coverage, providing them with the clarity and value they need.  Nathan is especially helpful for clients who prefer to handle most of their coverage process digitally.
